Sa'Miya and Isaac

New York, NY - March 25, 2016 - On Friday, May 13th, 2016, musical artists Sa'Miya and Isaac Johnson will present their newest collaborative single at the New York City Museum of Modern Art as part of a breast cancer awareness fundraiser. The duo's performance will begin at 4:00 p.m. to kick off a Martioni Black Label fashion photo shoot also taking place at the charity event.

Having witnessed the devastating effects of cancer on friends and family members, Isaac and Sa'Miya decided to combine their talent to help prevent others from having to go through such a painful ordeal. Profits from sales of their single will be donated to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, which has awarded more than $4 million in grants for studies to find a cure for breast cancer.

Sa'Miya lost her father to cancer in 2012, so she knows from firsthand experience the many challenges that cancer patients and their families face every day. The lyrics in her music relate her own personal struggles, and she admits that writing the
Miracle melody, song was a very emotional experience. She hopes that people who listen to her track will find some comfort knowing that someone else understands their pain.

Sa'Miya began singing publicly at the age of three. Her experience in the local church choir introduced her to the gospel and jazz genres, which have continued to influence her musical style. Sa'Miya shares a bloodline connection with music industry legend Luther Vandross, who inspired her to start writing poems that would later become songs. Working with popular artists like rapper Brisco and having connections to Flo Rida and Lil Wayne have helped Sa'Miya make a name for herself, and her new album aspires to propel her career forward.

Through his record label, Music Babies LLC, Issac Johnson has worked with some of the most reputable names in the music world including Pleasure P, Prety Ricky and Jason Derulo, who currently has a multi-platinum album with one billion online streams. In addition to producing music, Isaac plays piano, drums and guitar.

Radio stations across the country are expected to start playing the song soon. Following the performance, MBL will be introducing a new trouser silhouette called the boat leg, which designers hope will bring freshness to New York's fashion scene.
